The PYP Agents series is designed to support inquiring minds through the use of high-interest, short chapter books that:
- support the transdisciplinary themes and the formation of different approaches to learning skills
- help students to make connections between the books and their own experiences (text-to-self connections)
- build students’ decoding and visualization skills and text-to-text connections skills
- develop content knowledge and comprehension
- support self-directed learning and engagement

What teachers say
The books are engaging, colourful, well-organized, and could be used for multiple grades for different inquiries. They can be used throughout the cycle of inquiry – for provocations, for independent research, for specific inquirers, for vocabulary, for reading groups, and for experiments.
A great non-fiction resource with eyecatching illustrations and fun facts suitable from Grade 2 upwards. The books work well for independent or group research, group reading sessions or book study. The questions inside are great discussion starters.
This is a well-thought-out and versatile series of books connected to the PYP Units of Inquiry. I like that humor was added for fun but also to be considered a teaching tool. I also LOVE that the worksheets are fully editable. This is a HUGE plus of the materials.
